I am going to speak with my doctor about stopping the medication. I was never on medications prior to PPD and anxiety, and I really do not like being on meds now. I do not like how I am feeling on this med.
I would much rather not take any meds, and just see how I feel without any meds in my system.
Who knew having a baby would cause all this?
Babies are very expensive - but in addition to the monthly diapers and formula - I now have to pay for psych and therapy appts and meds.....

Give it time to find the meds that will work best for you. I have been on 3 different ones and finally seem to have found one that works well for me. Do not try to go about this with out meds unless your doctor is aware. If you suffered from epilepsy and needed meds to keep it under control would you forego them because you didn't like taking medication? Depression is a disease and you cannot be expected to recover with out some help. In time, you may be able to drop them meds altogether, but don't rush it.
I am reading your blog and I feel like I am reading my story too. I so had all the same feelings about giving up my daughter for adoption. I felt like life was over. the moment I pushed her out, the world came crashing down on me. Please follow my blog as I blog about my issues as well as my family. I will be sure to follow yours. Its going to be ok!
